Historically, Arasta Bazaar was established during the 16th century as part of the construction of the Sultanahmet Mosque complex (also known as the Blue Mosque). The bazaar was originally intended to support the mosque's maintenance and provide goods to the surrounding community. Today, it maintains its historical charm, with many shops specializing in handmade Turkish crafts, offering high-quality products at reasonable prices.
